Anyway, for power and DAC I think I have settled on the CarPiHAT Pro. Out of Stock at the mo so I have emailed The Pi Hut to see if they have a lead time on resupply?

I'd also like to make contact with the guy who made these, but cannot find any contact details. The project is on GiHub https://github.com/gecko242/CarPiHat and I found some initial conversations about the project on Redit.
Directly behind where the dash is currently fitted, I have installed a Weber Box (a large cut out fitted with a box fo a Weber Carb). This means there is no room to install the Pi on top of the 7" screen, let alone with a HAT on, so I will have to mount the Pi elsewhere, possibly in the centre console.
