I'm having the exact same issue. Brand new RP5 4GB with Sandisk 32GB SD Card and official RP5 Power Supply.
Argon NEO 5 BRED Case with the metal top casing if that's worth considering.
Logitech K260 USB Wireless Mouse and Keyboard (2.4GHz)
No other USB devices connected.
The Logitech K260 works perfectly fine on my laptop but as soon as it's plugged into an RP5 4GB on the same desk using either USB2.0 or USB3.0 the keyboard sometimes misses characters and the mouse does not work in it's normal position 1m from the receiver.
At first I thought it was a low battery, but I replaced it in the mouse and no change. Then I also noticed that occasionally the keyboard misses a character unexpectedly that was too regularly to be a typing issue.
One thing I found that did work was reducing the screen resolution from 4K 3840x2160 50Hz to 1080p 1920x1080 50Hz and then the Keyboard and mouse worked fine in their normal position. I'm posting this right now using 1080p and it's working fine. As soon as I change it back to 4K, it stops working again.
As above, use a USB extender cable for the Logi dongle, get it well away from USB3 ports and USB3 cables.
Funnily enough I thought it was an issue with the screen radiation at first on my Logitech equipment, my mouse would work fine when centred with the screen. While the screen might have some effect, as might wifi, bluetooth etc the majority of the problem is usually USB3 because it is unbroken continuous noise.
