I have turned on 'usb_max_current_enable=1'This does work. I am using a 12v 3A dc cig lighter input.
Just remember to put
PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000
in eeprom config. WIthout that it wont work.
It seems:
[config.txt]
[all]
usb_max_current_enable=1
may also work.
through raspi-config, but still shows power supply not able to provide 5A error at startup. But no low voltage warnings.
I haven't added 'PSU_MAX_CURRENT=5000'
Can you please share which Type C cable you are using ? Longer ones are having voltage drop for me.
